We clean and restore boats using the least abrasive method to fully correct the problem. Here is how that looks.
We assess the level of oxidation throughout the boat and customize the service to cut as little into the gelcoat as necessary. Sometimes wet sanding is needed to fully remove the oxidation. Other areas may just need a light polish.
From the level of acid we use for rust to the strength of the upholstery cleaner, we assess what level is needed to get it looking as good as possible without causing more harm.
We only use boat soap and soft bristle brushes, plus as few cleaners as necessary. For gelcoat stains we opt for a cleaner wax, and we make sure any acids are neutralized and protected.
Detailing
Full detail including treating rust, mold and seats, protecting upholstery and polishing the metal.
Typically 3 to 6 hours
A complete maintenance package combining a thorough wash with a high-performance wax to protect your boat’s finish. Not for dull or faded boats.
Restoration
Enhancing the shine and depth of your boat’s paint using high-grade polishing compounds and professional techniques.
Deep restoration for severe fading or heavy oxidation. We use solvents to strip any artificial shine and ensure an even finish.
For faded gelcoat that compound can’t restore. We sand as little as possible to fully remove the oxidation.
Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. We come when we say, give updates on condition, and hit the areas you don’t see.
Most companies offer an estimate. To assess your boat yourself, shine a bright, direct light into the gelcoat and look at the reflection.
